Standing in Agreement

You don’t have to stand in agreement, Danielle.”

God’s voice cut through the noise.

Friend,

You don’t have to stand in agreement with what people say about you or what you say about yourself. You don’t have to stand in agreement with the lies the enemy is speaking or the false things being said about My character.

Danielle, you can fall out of agreement. It’s your choice. But if you continue to cultivate these thoughts, they will lead you to a dangerous place.

The Lord admonished me with gentleness and love.

My mind had been held hostage by toxic thoughts locked in a never-ending cycle. His soft voice whispered truth into my mental chaos as I read the familiar words of Romans 12:2:

“Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.”

I didn’t have to conform to criticism.

I didn’t have to conform to my insecurities.

I didn’t have to conform to Satan’s condemnation.

I didn’t have to stand in agreement.

So I decided to fall out of agreement with the lies and stand in agreement with the truth of who God is and who He says that I am.

I am chosen by God.

Before I was formed in my mother’s womb, He knew me.

He prepared a good work for me to walk in.

He is with me.

He is the Great I AM.

He will give me the words to say when I need them.

He is my guide, leading me on the right path.

He is my shield and strength.

He has redeemed me.

He loves me.

He is my God, and I belong to Him.

Here I agree and stand.

In His Love,
Danielle
